Public Concerns and Amenities: The Impact of Controversy

Treating transgender children with psychotherapy is a more suitable approach than endorsing the modification of healthy body organs and the promotion of puberty blockers. There is insufficient research on the potential long-term consequences of these contemporary affirming care procedures. Gender Dysphoria is a mental health condition, not a physical ailment. It is crucial to refrain from normalizing Gender Dysphoria and to empower parents to utilize therapy as a tool to assist children in embracing and appreciating their bodies.

I can't fathom how it's even remotely considered a fair process that when minority clients raise racism concerns against white psychologists, the investigator and all three board members responsible for the final decision are also white. They seem to overlook the actual evidence, attempting to shift blame onto you based on their unsubstantiated opinions that always seem to favor the psychologist. According to their published data, less than 10% of cases lead to any consequences for the psychologist. This institution doesn't seem to prioritize public welfare, particularly for individuals of color. Save yourself the hassle and instead, take your complaint directly to the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
Jessica Williams (2025-07-21, 3:25 a.m.):
The CoP is simply dreadful. They seem to only care about complaints from the US. Hence, I'm leaving my one-star review all the way from the States.
Barbara Cruz (2025-07-21, 12:23 a.m.):
A threat to the Ontario community is emerging due to the unjust mistreatment of professional psychologists expressing differing viewpoints supported by sound research. This situation hinders well-intentioned psychologists from sharing genuine insights with their patients. I advise individuals currently seeking therapy in Ontario to consider discontinuing their sessions and seeking alternative support from mental health counselors, psychotherapists, or even spiritual advisors. This suggestion is not meant to denigrate psychologists, who are primarily exceptional and skilled practitioners. Rather, it is a call to action for the misguided College to acknowledge that their rigid regulations are compromising the level of care provided by their members. One can only hope that psychologists will band together to challenge this bureaucratic oppression.
Michelle Graham (2025-07-20, 3:48 p.m.):
I must say, I've been absolutely gobsmacked by the College of Psychologists' treatment of Dr. Jordan Peterson. It's a proper disgrace, mate. This whole situation has been a right nightmare of injustice and has really shown the lack of integrity in the field. I wouldn't give them a single star, not even a bloody half-star.
Peter Ramirez (2025-07-17, 9:47 p.m.):
It's absolutely shocking how the COP is showing such a blatant disregard for freedom of expression. The distrust you're sowing between patients and the mental health care system with your ideologically motivated decisions is extremely concerning. When individuals no longer have faith in psychologists and feel they can't be honest with their healthcare professionals, the results could be devastating. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.
Katherine Reyes (2025-07-17, 4:45 p.m.):
Gone are the days of challenging patients and promoting blind affirmation, limiting the freedom of speech for practitioners. The only praise given in this review is to professionals like Dr. Jordan Peterson.
Bryan Nelson (2025-07-16, 10:28 a.m.):
Concealing information while benefiting from public subsidies is completely unacceptable.
They refuse to disclose the names of their own members and are not willing to make this information public even after an email inquiry. When I asked for information about a board member, they treated it as if it should be kept secret.
Timothy Martin (2025-07-13, 11:54 a.m.):
Absolutely disgraceful, isn't it?
Isabella Turner (2025-07-13, 2:45 a.m.):
Well, let me tell ya, this establishment is a complete joke.
Zachary Graham (2025-07-07, 5:18 p.m.):
I firmly believe that censorship is completely unjust. This message should be relayed to the appropriate authorities. It is clear that you are not the heroes in this narrative, but rather the antagonists. It is truly disgraceful for anyone to be associated with such a worthless government entity.
Kevin Hernandez (2025-07-07, 3:41 a.m.):
As a European citizen, I am appalled by how this College is seemingly attacking Dr. Peterson in an attempt to revoke his license simply for expressing his beliefs. Quotes taken out of context are being used to discredit him, which is truly unfair. Dr. Peterson is a valuable asset from Canada.
Living in Europe, when someone mentions Canada, Dr. Peterson immediately comes to mind, and for good reason. He has helped me navigate life, be a better father, and overcome challenges. It is disheartening to see the College of Ontario trying to revoke his license. They should be celebrating Dr. Peterson and his accomplishments. I cannot think of another Canadian psychologist who has touched as many lives as he has.
I urge the College of Ontario to reconsider their actions towards Dr. Peterson and not go through with revoking his license. To take away the license of one of your top psychologists is both disheartening and troubling. It raises concerns about what is happening in Canada.
Evelyn Sanders (2025-07-03, 11:18 p.m.):
This establishment lacks faith in truth or the freedom of expression.
Nicole Adams (2025-07-02, 11:50 a.m.):
A star is much too generous for such a dreadful management. They have shown their lack of depth and dishonesty all over the globe.
Carol Turner (2025-06-30, 9:57 p.m.):
The bloomin' college 'as gone too far with their control and dictatorial ways if they reckon they can force Dr. Peterson to speak a certain way. They 'ave no right stickin' their noses into 'is personal life outside of work. I 'ope 'e decides to cut ties with the college, 'cause 'e's got more important things to worry about and this power grab just goes to show 'ow scared they are of 'im.
Juan Long (2025-06-29, 2:10 p.m.):
You try to silence people if they don't agree with your views. Absolutely pathetic. Get ready for a massive backlash if you continue this behavior.
Roy Walker (2025-06-25, 3:24 p.m.):
I would've given it a big fat goose egg if I could! Absolutely dreadful, disappointment at every turn!
Cheryl Hernandez (2025-06-18, 4:24 p.m.):
Have you sussed it out yet? You've gone and stirred the pot with the wrong bloke. Your dodgy dealings are being brought to light and there's no stopping it now.
Amelia Cooper (2025-06-16, 8:57 p.m.):
I reckon it might be beneficial to provide y'all with some training. Perhaps we can step out to the garden and go over a few things together.
Lawrence Martin (2025-06-16, 5:01 p.m.):
Indeed! Carry on. You are making a martyr out of yourself. It seems you fail to grasp the severity of your actions. The way in which you contradict yourself is a telltale sign of hiding the truth. Your visible conduct does not uphold the principles of free speech, nor does it adhere to the responsibilities outlined in the Hippocratic Oath for healthcare professionals. It appears that your primary concern lies in appeasing the current powers and trends, many of which are highly questionable. I am certain that you are contributing to tarnishing the annals of human history. How can you face yourself in the mirror each morning and feel at peace when your choices exhibit servitude to authority, reminiscent of dark chapters from 20th-century European history?
Based on your anti-freedom stance, it is doubtful that you possess the moral authority to fulfill the duties of this institution. If personal ethical values hold any weight for you, then all of you should consider resigning.
