Fantastic spot for hosting hockey and lacrosse tournaments! The only downside is the parking situation, so I recommend arriving early to secure a spot.

I was really impressed by the facilities at the Canadian Summit Center in Huntsville, Ontario. They've got a swimming pool, two skating rinks, and even a walking track! It's amazing how much there is to do in one place.

What a brilliant spot! I was there for the Ironman race last July and it was fantastic to have an indoor spot to grab some food and relax after the race.
Pamela Lewis (2025-07-16, 7:39 p.m.):
I had no idea the G8 summit was held here! It's been transformed into a community center now, located near the Lion lookout. Such a fascinating place to visit and explore.

It was fine. I just popped into the restroom. Really tidy.

The old centennial Centre underwent a transformation several years back, and it has now blossomed into a fantastic facility.
Robert Morales (2025-07-14, 11:04 p.m.):
Lovely structure with 2 ice rinks, impeccably kept. We dropped by for some skating, but there were matches in progress, so we had to pass this time. There's also a bustling indoor pool on the premises. Additionally, there's a café that we didn't get the chance to try out today.

Interesting factoid about the arena in the picture.

A charming slice of Huntsville's history right here.
Pamela Gutierrez (2025-07-14, 7:21 p.m.):
This arena is absolutely brilliant. The viewing and filming spots for hockey games are top-notch. The only drawback is that this place is a bit of a labyrinth. On the initial day, nobody had a clue where to go!
Brian Cruz (2025-07-14, 9:10 a.m.):
The Canada Summit Centre is truly a gem among Community Centers in Canada. With some of the finest ice pads in Ontario, boasting not just one, but two rinks complete with stands and heated viewing areas, it's a true haven for ice sports enthusiasts. The dressing rooms are spacious and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable experience for all visitors. Additionally, the Centre features a large lap pool, a cozy therapy pool, and a relaxing spa tub for public use. Its numerous event rooms, some large enough to host weddings, make it a prime location for gatherings of all kinds.
Julie Martinez (2025-07-11, 7:40 a.m.):
I frequent the Summit Centre almost every day for both work and personal leisure. My family and I often convene there to conduct interviews with potential babysitters at the coffee shop, enjoy a swim in the pool with our toddler, and I've also explored joining a couple of classes! The variety of activities available is impressive, and the staff are exceptionally welcoming. It truly is a hidden gem in Huntsville.
Danielle Young (2025-07-07, 3:20 p.m.):
Fantastic for catching some top-notch curling action! Team Epping all the way!
Walter Hamilton (2025-07-07, 6:23 a.m.):
I am writing this review specifically for the pool and swimming classes!
I absolutely recommend the adult swimming classes at the Summit Centre. I have been taking these classes on and off since 2019, and I have really enjoyed seeing my swimming skills improve over that time. My nephew has also been doing the kids' lessons for about the same amount of time, and he really enjoys them too.

The adult swimming lessons are not quite what you might expect. Imagine it as an hour of lap swimming with a coach guiding you, providing structured programming and drills each week to help you enhance your stroke, speed, endurance, and more. When I first started, I knew how to swim but didn't really know how to swim laps for exercise. I've discovered a delight in refining my speed and have recently started taking private lessons (yes, they offer those too!) to learn specific skills like flip turns and butterfly.

The entire team is fantastic - I've worked with Cam, Jenn, Kate, and Aidan. The pool temperatures are usually warm, and sometimes you can relax in the hot tub afterwards. Recently, my parents joined me in taking lessons, and they are enjoying the challenging yet gentle workouts that are easy on their joints.
Albert Morales (2025-07-05, 10:52 p.m.):
The pool is absolutely lovely, and the skating rink at the recreation center is fantastic as well. It's a great place to have some fun and enjoy the facilities.
Nathan Kim (2025-07-05, 2:49 a.m.):
This recreation center is the perfect spot to catch a hockey game with excellent sightlines.
Keith Torres (2025-07-03, 9:21 p.m.):
This recreation center is a brilliant spot for a dip, stroll, skate, or even just to relax with a coffee. It's the perfect place to hang out, rain or shine. The staff are delightful and the opening hours are top-notch.
Lucy White (2025-07-02, 3:46 a.m.):
Amazing spot. Took my grandchild for a preschool swim session. The lifeguard on duty was extremely helpful.
Sharon Diaz (2025-06-26, 5:05 p.m.):
Just had my first COVID shot at the recreation center, and I must say it was a breeze! I arrived and was promptly taken care of without any wait. The staff member administering the shot was incredibly pleasant and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and easy. Highly recommend getting vaccinated here!
Dorothy Torres (2025-06-26, 8:13 a.m.):
Fantastic recreational facility with a plethora of amenities and friendly, accommodating staff.
Betty Roberts (2025-06-22, 5:31 p.m.):
The little ones absolutely adore the pool, while dear old dad can't get enough of the hot tub! Ice skating is also a fan favorite and never fails to bring tons of joy and excitement.
