I am grateful for the amazing programmes and amenities that are accessible here in Kawartha Lakes.
Ronald Long (2025-07-21, 8:10 p.m.):
Just got a membership for my daughter at the recreation center. The whole process was smooth and the staff were really friendly. Great experience!
Emily Moore (2025-07-21, 2:39 p.m.):
A far superior option for accessing town amenities compared to those found in the Durham region.
Keith Brown (2025-07-21, 11:53 a.m.):
I was up in the upstairs room dedicated to my dear uncle Fred, lovely spot from what we could see.

I was so pleased with how well organized everything was during COVID at the recreation center! It's fantastic that they were able to offer a variety of classes and gym options.

Had a great time swimming and skating in the Recreational Center today! The food was quite affordable too.
Chloe Cooper (2025-07-19, 5:04 a.m.):
The showers in the changing rooms are absolutely dreadful, mate. They're either freezing cold or scorching hot, there's no in-between! It's a right pain, it is.
Danielle Roberts (2025-07-15, 5:02 p.m.):
We're signed up for the parent and tot swim class for 12-24 months. I must say, I absolutely adore this class for my little one. It's wonderfully relaxed, allowing us to go at our own pace and support each other. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. The half-hour duration of the classes for this age group is spot on. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Ralph Peterson (2025-07-15, 1:47 p.m.):
I ain't keen on the whole sign-up process being computer-based. It's a right mission to get through, innit? And why they makin' us use our credit cards for payment? I thought that was just a temporary thing during the pandemic! 😔😔😔😔...
Jeremy Brown (2025-07-11, 9:23 p.m.):
What a fabulous spot for the whole family! The staff were simply top-notch, the place was spick and span, and the food was truly excellent. Can't wait to visit again!
Gary Butler (2025-07-10, 9:26 p.m.):
This spot is fantastic for bringing the little ones to improve their swimming skills.
Vincent Graham (2025-07-08, 2:58 p.m.):
Fabulous sports and recreation center! It features a 25-meter swimming pool, aerobic and weight rooms, 2 squash courts, and 2 ice rinks. The staff is absolutely fantastic as well.
Lucy Parker (2025-07-07, 3:17 a.m.):
This recreation center is a real gem for sports enthusiasts!
Terry Graham (2025-07-06, 5:52 a.m.):
The staff is very friendly and welcoming, which adds to the charm of the place. It has all the necessary amenities for a pleasant experience. However, it could benefit from some tender loving care and upgrades to enhance the overall appeal.
Frank Henderson (2025-06-27, 7:57 p.m.):
Definitely in need of an update haha, but it's great to have a recreation center in the area.
Margaret Ward (2025-06-27, 9:26 a.m.):
Just watched the Lindsay Jr. A Muskie's hockey game. Enjoyed the experience overall, but must say, the sound system could use an upgrade! Couldn't make out a word the announcer was saying, and the music was just dreadful. Nevertheless, a very pleasant facility indeed.
Andrew Smith (2025-06-25, 8:19 p.m.):
I absolutely adore this place, it's incredibly pristine and well-lit. The price point is fantastic and there are tons of activities to indulge in. The staff members are simply marvelous.
Benjamin Williams (2025-06-25, 1:01 p.m.):
We took our 2-month-old baby for her inaugural swim and she absolutely adored the cozy pool. The family changing area was a lifesaver for us to quickly swap her into dry clothes. It was a lovely experience overall! However, I must say that the customer service over the phone was lacking. It felt like they were too preoccupied to properly assist with our queries, which is a shame as it slightly tarnished what could have been a flawless 5-star rating.
Patrick Howard (2025-06-22, 10:15 p.m.):
There's always a plethora of activities catered specifically for our beloved seniors at the recreation center!
Daniel Ross (2025-06-22, 2:36 a.m.):
I grew up in that arena and I absolutely adore the new upgrades, but it would be fantastic to have separate pads for the figure skaters. This way, the hockey surface wouldn't get as chewed up with pick ruts from the figure skates. It's a small tweak that would make a big difference for everyone who uses the facility!
